Description

The Victron Orion-TR 24/24-12A Isolated DC-DC Converter provides regulated 24V output while maintaining galvanic isolation between the source and load sides of the electrical system. It is useful in marine, vehicle, communications, and off-grid installations where sensitive 24V equipment needs a stable supply without directly sharing the source ground.

The converter accepts 16-35V input and provides an adjustable 20-30V output with a nominal setting of 24.2V. Continuous output is 12A at 40°C, with approximately 320W available at 25°C and 280W at 40°C. Short-term current output reaches 15A, and the output is short-circuit protected.

A remote on/off terminal allows the converter to be controlled from a low-power switch, relay, or engine-run signal. Multiple units can be connected in parallel when additional output is required. Thermal protection reduces current at elevated ambient temperatures, while IP43 protection applies when the screw terminals are oriented downward.

Galvanic isolation is rated at 200V DC between input, output, and case. This model is intended as a power converter rather than a battery charger.
