Description

The Victron Orion-TR 12/24-10A Isolated DC-DC Converter steps a 12V source up to a regulated 24V output while maintaining galvanic isolation between the input and output circuits. It is suited to marine, vehicle, communications, and off-grid systems that need to operate 24V equipment from a 12V battery bank without directly tying the two ground paths together.

The converter provides 10A of continuous output with approximately 240W available at 40°C and higher output available at lower ambient temperature. The adjustable output allows the regulated 24V supply to be matched to supported loads, while short-circuit protection helps protect the converter during downstream faults.

A remote on/off terminal allows control from a low-power switch, relay, or engine-run signal rather than requiring a high-current switch in the input wiring. Multiple units can be paralleled when additional output current is needed. Thermal protection reduces output at elevated temperatures, and IP43 protection applies when the screw terminals are mounted downward.

This model is intended as a power converter rather than a battery charger.
