The Blue Sea Systems 8101 runs five AC branch circuits behind a 30A double pole ELCI main, in a panel 7.50 inches wide, 5.25 tall and 3.50 deep at 2.25 pounds. Five circuits covers what most mid-size boats actually run on shore power. Charger, outlets, water heater, and one or two spare.

The main is a residual current breaker tripping at 30 mA of leakage, giving the boat overcurrent and leakage protection as ABYC E-11 asks. In a marina every hull on the dock shares a ground, and leakage is the fault that a plain breaker will sit through without noticing. That is what this catches.

A red reverse polarity LED gives warning of badly wired dock power before circuits get energised. Label positions are backlit and ON indicating LEDs are installed in the circuit positions, so status reads clearly in poor light. Nominal voltage is 120V AC.
