Spyderco Shelter Cove Full Tang Fixed Blade Knife

Description

The Spyderco Shelter Cove is built as a substantial fixed blade, a satin-finished 5.75-inch 8Cr17MoV trailing point blade with full tang construction, set in a black G10 handle, and shipped complete with a black genuine leather sheath included.

Full tang construction runs the steel the entire length of the handle, giving the Shelter Cove strength for hard use that a partial-tang design simply can’t ever match. The distinctive trailing point blade shape curves the spine upward toward the tip, increasing the blade belly’s cutting surface for efficient slicing capability well beyond what a straight-backed blade offers. Black G10 resists cracking and fading far better than basic plastic, and the flat grind gives the blade a thin, efficient cross-section for precise, clean cuts.

At a full 10.63 inches overall, this is a substantial fixed blade built for buyers who want serious cutting capability out in the field. Choose it when a substantial fixed blade for serious, outdoor use in the field is what matters. The Shelter Cove brings serious cutting capability to a more accessible fixed-blade price point.
