Description

The SmartPlug 316 stainless steel data port case and inlet is designed to complement SmartPlug’s stainless shore power inlets while giving installers a clean, weather-resistant location for a marine data connection. Its stainless construction provides the same finished appearance as SmartPlug’s marine-grade inlet hardware, helping multiple exterior connection points look coordinated on the boat.

This version is supplied with one open port and one blank insert, allowing the installer to use one connection position immediately while keeping the unused opening properly finished. The lid closes against a closed-cell foam gasket to create a weather-resistant seal, helping protect the data connection when the port is not in use.

The assembly locks into the edge of the SmartPlug mounting flange and requires only four mounting screws. A silicone gasket is included, eliminating the need to rely on messy caulk to seal the mounting surface during normal installation. For boats adding communications, network, or other compatible data connections near existing SmartPlug hardware, this case provides a durable stainless mounting point with a factory-matched appearance.
