Description

The Mastervolt Charge Mate Pro 90 is an electronic charging relay that manages charging between a primary and secondary battery bank while limiting current to the secondary bank. This allows the starting or primary battery to receive charging priority while still sharing available alternator or charger output with the service battery.

Unlike a conventional mechanical relay, the Charge Mate Pro uses electronic current control with very low voltage drop. Reverse current is blocked even when the secondary battery voltage is higher, helping prevent unwanted discharge back toward the primary bank. The 90A version is suitable for larger charging demands, including lithium battery systems and high-output alternators.

An optional bypass switch can provide emergency-start functionality, and the unit can be used in marine or mobile systems with alternators or battery chargers as the charging source.
