Description

The Marinco EEL ShorePower Cordset uses Marinco’s Easily Engaged Lock connection to simplify the boat-side shore power hookup. Instead of relying on a separate threaded sealing ring, the EEL system uses a wing-clamp jaw design that can be operated with one hand and locks onto a standard compatible inlet after a simple twist.

The clamp creates a secure, watertight connection while a secondary locking feature helps keep the cordset engaged after installation. Because the EEL design works with standard NEMA inlets, boat owners can upgrade the cordset without necessarily replacing the inlet already installed on the vessel. The connection is designed for harsh marina environments and is UL approved.

A built-in LED cord light helps guide the connector into place in low-light conditions and provides a visible reminder when the cord remains connected. Marinco builds the cordset to applicable ABYC and UL standards, combining easier one-handed operation with the electrical and weather protection expected from marine shore power equipment. For slips where a shorter cord is sufficient, this EEL cordset provides a compact connection without giving up the locking and sealing features of the system.
