GROCO 2-1/2-Inch Bronze Engine Flush Kit and Adaptor

Description

The GROCO 2-1/2-inch engine flush kit adds a quarter-turn service connection to a compatible seacock, creating a convenient access point for engine cooling-system flushing, winterization, and emergency bilge pumping. The quick-release plug can be removed when service is needed without dismantling the normal raw-water plumbing.

For winterization, the included service adaptor provides a connection for introducing antifreeze into the cooling circuit after the seacock is closed. In an emergency, the connection can also allow the running engine’s raw-water pump to draw bilge water and discharge it overboard, provided the system is installed and operated according to GROCO instructions.

Confirm seacock size, hose arrangement, engine raw-water requirements, access, and installation orientation before fitting the kit. Always close or open the seacock in the correct sequence for the intended procedure, secure the quick-release plug after service, and test the system for leaks before returning the engine to normal operation.
