This Fireboy-Xintex Propane Fume Detector & Alarm catches propane leaks early and automatically shuts off the gas supply, cutting off the risk of personal injury or an explosion before it becomes a real emergency. The included solenoid valve and adapter close automatically the moment a leak is detected, and a dedicated solenoid valve control button lets you operate it manually too.

The 2-5/8-inch square black display uses LEDs alongside a silence/test button, and the alarm itself is hard to miss: 68 dBA sound paired with a red LED lighting up once gas concentration hits 20 percent of the LEL. Installation stays simple, and the electronics are reverse polarity protected, so a wiring mistake won’t fry the unit.
