Description

The Blue Sea 8018 DC Analog Ammeter provides a traditional analog display for monitoring current in higher-capacity marine DC systems. Its 0A to 150A range is appropriate for larger charging and distribution circuits where a 50A meter would not provide enough measurement headroom.

The meter uses an external shunt and includes the required DC shunt. A simple two-wire connection carries the meter signal and power, helping keep the installation straightforward. Because the shunt handles the high current while the instrument itself only reads the small measurement signal, the heavy battery or charging cable does not need to be routed through the meter face.
