Description

The Xantrex Digital Echo Charge automatically directs available charging current from a primary house bank to an auxiliary or starting battery. It is designed for dual-bank systems where the main inverter/charger, alternator, or other charging source normally charges one bank first.

When the Echo Charge detects that the house battery is being charged, it sends a controlled portion of that current to the second bank, up to 15A. The unit automatically switches on and off without disturbing the primary battery and is designed to avoid overcharging the auxiliary bank.

The charger automatically accommodates 12V or 24V systems as long as both connected banks use the same voltage and battery type. Built-in thermal protection, over-current protection, and reverse-polarity protection help protect the installation, while the simple three-wire design keeps installation straightforward.
