Xantrex Freedom HF 1000 Modified Sine Inverter Charger

Description

The Xantrex Freedom HF 1000 combines modified sine wave inverter power, automatic three-stage battery charging, and AC transfer in a compact marine and RV package. It is intended for smaller systems running entertainment equipment, small appliances, and other compatible AC loads.

Temperature-controlled multistage charging helps recharge the battery bank safely, while the built-in 30A transfer relay automatically switches loads between inverter power and incoming AC utility power. This reduces the need for separate inverter, charger, and transfer-switch components.

A removable digital display provides system information and can be mounted remotely where it is easier to see. The unit can be hardwired through a terminal strip or connected through the included GFCI receptacle arrangement. Protection includes battery over-voltage and under-voltage protection, over-temperature shutdown, overload protection, short-circuit protection, and ground-fault protection.
