Description

The Xantrex DC Battery Cable and Fuse S-Kit provides pre-terminated battery cables and a fuse-block package for connecting a compatible inverter to the battery bank. Combining these high-current DC components into one matched installation kit reduces the need to fabricate cables and source major protection hardware separately.

This S-Kit is intended for inverter installations in the approximately 600W to 800W range and includes approximately 8-foot 4 AWG battery cables. The cable length provides practical routing flexibility while still allowing the installer to keep the high-current DC run reasonably short.

Correct battery cabling and overcurrent protection are essential in inverter systems because even modest AC loads can require substantial current on the DC side.
