Xantrex C-Series 35-Amp Solar Charge Controller

Description

The Xantrex C-Series C35 is a 35A solid-state controller that can be used for photovoltaic charging, DC load control, or diversion control. It is field configurable for 12V or 24V battery systems, making it useful in boats, cabins, and off-grid installations that need one flexible controller for several possible DC energy-management roles.

In charging mode, PWM multi-stage charging helps maintain battery health and improve charging efficiency, with optional temperature compensation available when the appropriate sensor is installed. The same controller can be configured for diversion control or DC load management when the system design requires those functions instead.

Microprocessor control allows silent operation and supports field-adjustable voltage and battery set points. Electronic protection helps guard against short-circuit, overload, and over-temperature conditions. Conformal-coated circuit boards and a powder-coated enclosure help the controller tolerate demanding environments.

The C35 works with negative-ground and ungrounded systems and automatically disconnects from the battery at night when configured for solar charging. An optional remote display can provide additional operating information.
