Wichard Chain Grip for 3/8-Inch 10mm Chain

Description

A tight anchor chain under constant strain does real damage over time, chafing against the rub rail and roller chock every time the boat swings or a wave rolls through. This Wichard Chain Grip is built to ease that tension off the windlass and the chain itself, protecting the boat’s finish and hardware from the wear that comes with leaving the full anchoring load on unprotected metal-on-metal contact.

It positions between two links of the chain and is designed for single-handed operation, no wrestling a second tool or a helping hand just to get it seated. Once it’s on, an optimized design actively works to prevent accidental release, so you’re not second-guessing whether it’ll hold once you walk away from the bow.

It’s a one-piece design with no moving parts to wear out, jam, or fail under load, forged from Duplex stainless steel for increased mechanical strength and corrosion resistance compared to standard 316 stainless, and it’s made in France to Wichard’s usual manufacturing standard.
