Victron VE.Bus BMS for LiFePO4 Batteries, 12-48VDC

Description

The Victron VE.Bus BMS protects individual cells in Victron LiFePO4 batteries used with compatible VE.Bus inverter/chargers and related equipment. Each battery contains integrated balancing, temperature, and voltage monitoring electronics, and the BMS coordinates those signals across one or more batteries to protect the complete bank from unsafe operating conditions.

If a cell approaches under-voltage, the BMS can shut down or disconnect loads before the battery is damaged by excessive discharge. If a cell approaches over-voltage or an unsafe temperature, the BMS can reduce or stop charging. With compatible VE.Bus products, charge current can be reduced as a protection threshold is approached rather than waiting for a hard shutdown.

Victron LiFePO4 batteries connect to the VE.Bus BMS through their integrated BTV communication leads, and multiple batteries can be daisy-chained so the system can monitor the complete bank. This allows one BMS to coordinate protection across multi-battery 12V, 24V, and 48V installations.
