Description

The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/100-TR VE.Can is a high-output solar charge controller built for larger marine and off-grid solar systems. Its ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking continuously adjusts to changing panel voltage and current so the controller can harvest more usable energy from the array, including during rapidly changing light conditions. It can also begin charging a severely depleted battery when the battery cells themselves remain serviceable.

The controller automatically detects common 12V, 24V, and 48V battery systems and provides fully programmable charging settings for lead-acid, lithium, and other supported battery chemistries. Built-in Bluetooth allows setup, monitoring, and historical data review through VictronConnect. VE.Can ports let multiple compatible controllers be daisy chained so their charging stages synchronize across a larger solar installation, while a VE.Direct port provides an additional connection for monitoring or control.

When connected through a compatible GX device, system information can be viewed through Victron Remote Management when internet access is available. A remote on/off input allows control from third-party equipment such as a lithium battery management system, and an optional plug-in LCD display can provide local operating data and configuration directly at the controller.
