Description

The Victron SmartShunt 500A/50mV is an all-in-one battery monitor that uses a phone, tablet, or compatible GX device as the display instead of requiring a dedicated panel gauge. Built-in Bluetooth connects directly to the VictronConnect app, where users can view state of charge, current flow, estimated time remaining, historical information, and other battery data.

The 500A measurement range is a practical fit for many marine, RV, and off-grid house banks, including systems with inverters and high-output charging equipment. A VE.Direct port allows the SmartShunt to connect to a compatible GX device so battery information can be included in a centralized monitoring system.

An auxiliary input can be configured to monitor second-battery voltage, midpoint voltage in a series-connected bank, or temperature with compatible sensing equipment. This adds useful diagnostic flexibility without requiring a separate monitor for each measurement.
