Description

The Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 24V 25A 1+1 charger is designed for 24V boats that need a primary service-bank charger plus a dedicated output for keeping a starter battery maintained. The main output provides the bulk of the charging capacity to the house bank, while the auxiliary output delivers a smaller maintenance current to the starter battery.

Bluetooth is built in for monitoring, setup, synchronization, alarms, and firmware updates through VictronConnect. Victron’s adaptive six-stage algorithm uses bulk, absorption, recondition, float, storage, and refresh stages, adjusting absorption time according to the depth of discharge. This helps avoid overcharging batteries that have only been lightly cycled while still providing a complete recharge after heavier use.

BatterySafe logic moderates voltage rise to reduce excessive gassing under aggressive charging conditions. Storage mode lowers long-term float voltage to slow corrosion and water loss, then periodically applies a refresh cycle to help limit sulfation. Automatic voltage compensation offsets losses in the DC cabling as current changes.
