The Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 12V 50A three-bank charger is designed for boats that need substantial charging capacity across several 12V battery banks. Each output can supply the charger’s full rated current individually, while the combined output remains limited to the charger’s total capacity, allowing charging power to follow the needs of batteries that may return from use at different states of charge.

Built-in Bluetooth provides wireless setup, monitoring, alarm configuration, synchronization, and firmware updates through VictronConnect. The adaptive charging system changes absorption time based on discharge depth, helping prevent unnecessary overcharging after light use while extending charging after deeper cycling. BatterySafe mode controls the rate of voltage increase under high-current conditions, and Storage mode lowers long-term float voltage to reduce gassing and positive-plate corrosion.

Automatic voltage compensation helps offset DC cable losses as output current changes.
