Description

The Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 12/30 three-bank charger is designed for boats that need one adaptive charger to maintain several 12V battery banks. Each of the three outputs can supply the charger’s full rated current individually, while the combined output remains limited to the charger’s total rated capacity. This gives the system flexibility to respond to batteries that return from use at different states of charge.

Built-in Bluetooth allows monitoring, configuration, alarms, synchronization, and firmware updates through VictronConnect. The adaptive charging system adjusts absorption time according to discharge depth, reducing unnecessary overcharging after shallow use and extending the absorption period after deeper discharge. BatterySafe mode limits excessive voltage rise, while Storage mode lowers long-term float voltage to reduce gassing and corrosion during extended shore-power connection.

Automatic voltage compensation increases charger output slightly as current rises to offset voltage drop in the DC cabling. Recondition and refresh functions support battery recovery and long-term maintenance, while the IP43 enclosure is suited to protected marine locations. A separate 5-15P mains cord is required for AC connection.
