Victron Orion-TR 400W Isolated DC-DC Converter, 24-24V

Description

The Victron Orion-TR 24/24-17A Isolated DC-DC Converter provides regulated 24V output while electrically isolating the input and output sides of the system. It is useful in marine, vehicle, and off-grid installations where a clean, stable 24V supply is needed without tying the source and load grounds directly together.

The converter accepts 20-35V input and provides an adjustable 20-30V output, with 24.2V nominal. Continuous output is 17A at 40°C, while approximately 480W is available at 25°C and 400W at 40°C. Short-term current capability reaches 25A, and the output is short-circuit protected.

A remote on/off terminal allows the unit to be controlled from a low-current switch, relay, or engine-run signal. Additional Orion-TR units can be connected in parallel when more current is required. Thermal protection reduces output as ambient temperature rises, while IP43 protection applies when the screw terminals are oriented downward.
