Victron Orion-TR 360W Isolated DC-DC Converter, 12-24V

Description

The Victron Orion-TR 12/24-15A is an isolated 360W DC-DC converter that steps a 12V DC source up to regulated 24V output. It is designed for boats, vehicles, communications systems, and other installations that need to operate 24V equipment from an existing 12V battery or DC bus while maintaining galvanic isolation between the input and output circuits.

A remote on/off terminal allows the converter to be controlled with a low-current switch or an engine run/stop signal, eliminating the need to route the full input current through the control switch. The output voltage is adjustable for supported 24V loads.

The converter is short-circuit protected and automatically reduces output current when ambient temperature becomes high. Multiple Orion-TR units can be connected in parallel when an installation requires more output current than a single 15A converter can provide.

IP43 protection applies when the unit is installed with the screw terminals facing downward, and the screw-terminal connections do not require special installation tools. This model is intended for regulated power conversion rather than battery charging.
