Victron Orion-TR 30A Isolated DC-DC Converter, 12-12V

Description

The Victron Orion-TR 12/12-30A Isolated DC-DC Converter provides regulated 12V power while electrically isolating the source side from the load side. It is designed for marine, vehicle, industrial, and off-grid systems that need a stable DC supply and separate negative paths rather than direct common-ground operation.

The converter accepts 10-17V input and provides an adjustable 10-15V output, with a nominal setting of 12.2V. Continuous output is 30A at 40°C, with approximately 430W available at 25°C and 360W at 40°C. Short-term current output can reach 40A, and the output is protected against short circuits.

A remote on/off input allows low-current control from a switch, relay, or engine-run signal, eliminating the need to place a high-current switch in the input feed. Multiple units can be paralleled when additional output is needed. Thermal protection reduces current as ambient temperature rises, and IP43 protection applies when the screw terminals face downward.
