Victron Orion-TR 240W Isolated DC-DC Converter, 48-12V

Description

The Victron Orion-TR 48/12-20A Isolated DC-DC Converter provides regulated 12V power from a 48V electrical system while keeping the input and output circuits galvanically isolated. It is well suited to boats, off-grid systems, commercial vehicles, and communications installations that use a 48V main battery bank but still need dependable 12V auxiliary power.

The converter delivers up to 20A and approximately 240W of output for compatible 12V equipment. A remote on/off input allows the unit to be controlled by a low-power switch, relay, or engine-run signal without routing the full converter input current through the control circuit.

The Orion-TR is short-circuit protected and can be paralleled with additional units when more current is required. Thermal protection automatically reduces output under high ambient temperature, and IP43 protection applies when the screw terminals are oriented downward. Screw-terminal connections simplify installation without specialized tooling.

This model is intended for regulated DC power conversion rather than battery charging.
