Description

The Victron Orion-TR 24/12-20A Isolated DC-DC Converter provides a stable 12V output from a 24V source while maintaining galvanic isolation between the two circuits. It is designed for marine, vehicle, industrial, and off-grid systems that need to power 12V equipment from a 24V battery bank without directly sharing the source and load grounds.

The converter accepts 16-35V input and provides an adjustable 10-15V output with a nominal setting of 12.2V. Continuous output is 20A at 40°C, with approximately 300W available at 25°C and 240W at 40°C. Short-term output reaches 25A, while short-circuit protection helps limit current during downstream faults.

A remote on/off terminal allows control from a low-power switch or system signal. Multiple units can be connected in parallel when more output current is required. Thermal protection reduces output in high ambient temperatures, and IP43 protection applies when the screw terminals face downward.

The input, output, and case are galvanically isolated to 200V DC. This model is intended as a DC power converter rather than a battery charger.
