Description

The Victron Orion IP67 12/24-50A DC-DC Converter is a rugged 1200W converter designed to provide stable 24V DC output from a 12V electrical system in harsh marine, vehicle, and machinery environments. The electronics are completely encapsulated in resin inside a cast-aluminum housing, creating a waterproof, shock-resistant, and ignition-protected package that can tolerate exposure to water, oil, and dirt.

A wide 15-40V input range allows the converter to maintain stable output even when the source voltage rises or falls because of other equipment connected to the same battery system. That makes it useful where starting loads, alternator behavior, long cable runs, or other high-current equipment can create temporary voltage sags and surges.
