Victron Orion 24/12-60 IP20 DC-DC Converter

Description

The Victron Orion 24/12-60 IP20 DC-DC Converter provides up to 60 amps of 12V output from a 24V electrical system. It is well suited to boats, commercial vehicles, RVs, and off-grid installations that use a 24V primary battery bank but still need substantial 12V power for electronics, pumps, lighting, controls, or a separate accessory battery.

A remote on/off connection allows the converter to be controlled from a low-power switch or an engine run/stop signal, avoiding the need to route the full input current through a heavy-duty control switch. The adjustable-output design can also be configured for battery charging, such as maintaining a 12V starter or accessory battery within an otherwise 24V system.

When 60 amps is not enough, up to five compatible Orion units can be connected in parallel to increase total output current. That makes the platform useful for systems that may grow over time or need more 12V capacity than a single converter can provide.
