Description

The Victron MultiPlus-II 12/3000 2x120V Inverter/Charger combines pure sine wave inversion, high-capacity battery charging, automatic AC transfer, and advanced power management in one UL-approved platform. The 2x120V architecture is designed for North American split-phase style installations that need coordinated operation between battery power, shore power, and generator input.

PowerAssist protects a limited AC source by reducing charging demand when necessary and then supplementing the available shore or generator power with battery energy when loads exceed the source capacity. When external AC fails, inverter operation begins in less than 20 milliseconds so sensitive electronics can continue running with little interruption.

The MultiPlus-II also supports Victron Energy Storage System applications and provides an external current-transformer option for PowerControl, PowerAssist, and self-consumption optimization. With a compatible GX device such as Cerbo GX, owners can monitor and control the system locally or remotely through the VRM platform.
