Description

The Victron MultiPlus 12V 3000VA Inverter/Charger combines a pure sine wave inverter, 120A adaptive charger, and 50A transfer switch in one integrated power system. It is designed for larger 12V battery banks that need reliable AC power, high-rate charging, and automatic transfer between shore power, generator power, and inverter operation.

Victron’s PowerAssist technology helps prevent a limited AC source from being overloaded. The unit first reduces charging current when demand rises, then supplements the available shore or generator supply with battery power when additional output is required.

If incoming AC power fails or is disconnected, the inverter takes over in less than 20 milliseconds, allowing sensitive electronics to continue operating with minimal interruption. Compatible installations can parallel multiple units for higher output and may support split-phase or three-phase configurations. With a supported GX device, the system can also be monitored and controlled through Victron’s VRM platform.
