Victron GX-IO Extender 150 for GX Devices

Description

The Victron GX-IO Extender 150 expands the physical input and output capabilities of a compatible Victron GX device, making it possible to connect additional sensors, switches, relays, and controlled loads to the wider system-management platform. It connects through USB, which also supplies operating power, keeping installation simple and avoiding the need for a separate power feed.

Eight configurable digital I/O channels can be used as eight inputs, eight outputs, or a combination of four inputs and four outputs. A PWM output supports applications that require variable control rather than simple on/off switching. Two latching relays provide low-power switching, while a solid-state switch can control resistive, capacitive, or inductive DC loads, including the coil of a larger contactor.

Pluggable spring terminals simplify field wiring and provide secure connections. The extender can be controlled through the Switch pane in the GX user interface or integrated into more advanced automation using Node-RED on supported GX devices. That makes it useful for custom control logic involving pumps, fans, alarms, lighting, contactors, sensors, and other onboard equipment.
