Description

The Victron Cyrix-Li-Load 120A is a microprocessor-controlled heavy-duty relay for 12V and 24V lithium-related DC systems. It provides high-current electronic control without the normal voltage loss associated with diode-based isolation, helping preserve available battery voltage at connected loads.

The 120A rating makes the relay suitable for substantial DC circuits where a low-current control signal needs to manage a much larger load path. Using a relay-based approach allows the high-current circuit to be switched without routing full load current through a dashboard switch or small control device.

The Cyrix family uses microprocessor control to manage connection and disconnection behavior based on system conditions. Because the relay introduces virtually no voltage loss when closed, alternator or charger output does not need to be artificially increased simply to compensate for an isolator drop.
