Victron Centaur 12V 30A 3-Bank Charger

Description

The Victron Centaur 12V 30A charger is a rugged three-bank charging system designed for marine installations that need universal AC compatibility and dependable automatic charging. Its auto-ranging input operates across a broad AC voltage and frequency range, allowing the charger to maintain full rated output in different shore-power environments without manual voltage adjustment.

Three isolated outputs allow separate battery banks to be charged from one unit, and each output is capable of supplying the charger’s full rated current as system demand changes. The automatic three-stage charging process moves from bulk to absorption and then float so the connected batteries can be fully charged and maintained without constant operator attention.

The Centaur line is built for demanding environments, with corrosion-resistant construction and internal thermal management intended for marine service. Its broad input range also makes it practical for boats that travel internationally or encounter inconsistent shore-power standards. Because the charger maintains full output throughout the specified AC range, it avoids the derating that can occur with some nominally universal-input chargers. For straightforward multi-bank charging without the need for a networked control system, the Centaur provides a robust, globally compatible option. Take a look through our 3-bank battery chargers.
