Description

The Victron Blue Smart IP65 12V charger combines high-output battery charging with weather-resistant construction and built-in Bluetooth. It can be used on boats, vehicles, motorcycles, classic cars, camper vans, and workshop equipment where a 12V battery needs automatic charging, maintenance, and remote status monitoring.

The seven-step charging algorithm is designed to recover the battery efficiently and then maintain it in good condition over time. Victron includes a recovery routine that can begin charging a deeply discharged battery with a low current, then resume normal charging once sufficient voltage is present. The charger supports multiple charging modes and uses temperature compensation for lead-acid batteries to help maintain appropriate charging voltage as conditions change.

VictronConnect allows the charger and battery to be monitored from a compatible phone, tablet, or computer, and charger settings can be changed without direct access to the unit. Crocodile clips and M8 eyelets are included for temporary or permanent-style connections. The IP65 housing is splash- and dust-resistant, while built-in protection covers reverse polarity, output short circuits, and excessive temperature.
