Victron Argo FET 200A 3-Battery Isolator

Description

The Victron Argo FET 200-3 Battery Isolator allows one alternator or single-output battery charger to charge three separate batteries or battery banks without directly connecting those batteries together. That separation helps protect a starting bank from being discharged by house or accessory loads while still allowing all three banks to receive charging current from the same source.

Unlike conventional diode isolators, the Argo FET uses field-effect transistor technology to minimize charging-voltage loss. Voltage drop is less than 0.02V at low current and averages about 0.1V at higher current. Preserving more of the alternator’s output voltage can improve charging performance and reduce the risk of batteries being chronically undercharged because of voltage lost across the isolator.

This model is rated for 200 amps and three battery outputs, making it suitable for larger multi-bank marine and mobile charging systems. Because the batteries remain isolated from one another, discharge from one accessory bank does not automatically pull energy from another bank when the charging source is inactive.
