Standard Horizon HX40 6W Ultra Compact Handheld VHF

Description

The Standard Horizon HX40 6W Ultra Compact Handheld VHF packs real transmit power, 6 watts, selectable down to 2.5 or 1 watt, into a small body measuring just 2.05″ x 3.74″ x 1.3″, small enough to keep clipped on without it feeling bulky.

A 600mW loud audio output keeps this radio audible even in windy or noisy conditions, and Dual and Triple Watch modes cover multiple channels without missing traffic on any of them. An FM broadcast receiver comes built in for entertainment when off duty, and paired with the optional SHC-29 flotation case, the HX40 floats if dropped overboard rather than sinking.

IPX7 submersible (1m for 30 minutes), built-in 1850mAh lithium-polymer battery, 3-year waterproof warranty. Includes CAT460 antenna, 12V and AC adapters, charger cradle, hand strap, and belt clip.
