Spyderco Stretch 2 XL SPY27 Clip Point Knife

Description

The Spyderco Stretch 2 XL in Clip Point is built around CPM SPY27, a satin-finished 3.99-inch blade set in a blue FRN handle with a lockback.

CPM SPY27 is a proprietary steel that Spyderco itself developed in partnership with steelmakers specifically for its own line of knives, prized for edge retention and toughness that holds up well to demanding, everyday use. At a full 3.99 inches long overall, this is a substantial blade built for buyers who want serious cutting capability throughout the whole knife. The clip point blade shape carries a fine, controlled tip well suited to detail work alongside its larger, primary cutting edge.

A lockback secures the blade open with a spine-mounted release, one of the most trusted traditional locking mechanisms available for its strength. It is aimed squarely at buyers who want Spyderco’s proprietary steel in a substantial, large lockback folder. The Stretch 2 XL platform brings rare, high-performance steel options to Spyderco’s broader lockback lineup. Spyderco continues to offer the whole Stretch 2 XL line across multiple handle colors and steel options for different buyers.
