Spyderco Byrd Cara Cara 2 Partially Serrated Lockback Knife

Description

The Spyderco Byrd Cara Cara 2 Partially Serrated Lockback Knife, part of the brand’s budget-friendly import line, pairs a substantial 3.75-inch 8Cr13MoV blade with a thumb slot opener, set in a stainless steel handle with a four-way reversible pocket clip, closing to 4.75 inches.

That thumb slot, a cutout at the blade spine rather than Spyderco’s signature round hole, still delivers fast one-handed opening at an accessible, budget-friendly price point. The partial serration section adds bite through rope, webbing, and other fibrous material that a plain edge handles far less cleanly, while keeping a plain section for controlled, precise cuts. At a full 3.75 inches long, this is one of the larger blades found across Byrd’s entire budget import lineup.

A lockback secures the blade open with a spine-mounted release, one of the most trusted traditional locking mechanisms available for its strength. Byrd brings Spyderco’s design sensibility down to a more accessible, everyday price point. The Cara Cara 2 has developed a following among buyers who want honest everyday value from Spyderco’s broader lineup. Explore more Lockback Knives.
