Description

The SOG Terminus XR pairs a 3-inch D2 clip point blade with a black G10 handle and SOG’s XR lock.

The XR lock is a crossbar rather than a liner or frame lock, a spring-loaded bar that snaps across the blade tang. It is fully ambidextrous, since the bar is pulled from either side, and it lets the blade be closed without putting fingers in its path. D2 is a semi-stainless tool steel holding an edge notably longer than budget alternatives, though it wants drying after wet use.

The clip point puts a fine, controlled tip on a 3-inch blade, and G10 keeps the handle light and stable. The result is a compact everyday folder with a lock usually found on more expensive knives.

  • XR crossbar lock, fully ambidextrous
  • Closes without fingers crossing the blade path
  • 3-inch D2 clip point blade
  • Black G10 handle stays light and stable
