Description

The M&P 9 Shield Plus is the latest addition to the popular Shield series from Smith & Wesson. It features a number of enhancements over the original 9 Shield, making it an excellent choice for the shooter seeking a 9mm pistol for concealed carry.

Here’s what you need to know about the 9 Shield Plus:

• Capacity: Has an impressive 13+1 or 10+1 capacity, compared to the 7+1 capacity of the original 9 Shield
• Magazine: Comes with one 13-round magazine and one 10-round flush fit magazine
• Size: Has a slightly longer grip than the original 9 Shield, allowing for a full three-finger grip on the gun
• Sights: Features white dot sights, for ease of use and quick acquisition
• Trigger: Improved trigger, with a smoother pull and a break that is more crisp

The differences between the original 9 Shield and the 9 Shield Plus? The most significant difference is the increased capacity.  With the 9 Shield Plus, you get double the number of rounds in the magazine. Additionally, the grip has been extended slightly to accommodate the larger magazine, which allows for a more comfortable and secure hold on the gun. The improved trigger is another welcome feature of the 9 Shield Plus.
