The Smith & Wesson Big Benji has a 3.5 in satin stainless tanto blade and a 5 in closed length. Black G10 covers the front of the handle, while the back side is stainless steel and doubles as the frame-locking side of the knife.

An extended tang starts the blade open, and the handle also incorporates a bottle opener. A pocket clip and lanyard hole make the Big Benji more than a plain folding knife, giving it a few useful carry and utility details without turning it into a full multitool.

The Big Benji is unusual because the bottle opener is incorporated into a locking folding-knife design rather than supplied as a separate accessory. Its G10 front scale and stainless back also give each side of the handle a different construction.
