Description

The SmartPlug Dual SmartPlug Cordset provides a complete SmartPlug connection from the marina pedestal to the vessel instead of combining SmartPlug hardware on the boat side with a traditional twist-style plug at the dock. That full-system approach gives boaters the same locking, sealing, and contact design at both ends of the shore power cable.

SmartPlug’s multi-point locking system uses side clips to secure each connector body so normal movement of the cord is less likely to place stress directly on the electrical contacts. Silicone gaskets inside the connector bodies help prevent water penetration when the plugs are fully engaged, supporting reliable use in rain, spray, humidity, and other common marina conditions. Tinned marine conductors help resist corrosion over repeated exposure to damp and salt-laden environments.

The female connectors incorporate red and blue LED indicators that provide an immediate visual check of incoming power and help identify unsafe reverse-polarity conditions.
