Description

The SmartPlug 30A 50-Foot Cordset combines a SmartPlug boat-side connector with a conventional 30A twist-type dockside plug. This mixed-end configuration lets a boat use the SmartPlug connection at the inlet while remaining compatible with common 125V marina pedestals that still use traditional twist-lock receptacles.

At the vessel end, SmartPlug’s multi-point locking system uses side clips to hold the connector securely in the inlet, reducing mechanical stress on the electrical contacts as the cord moves. Silicone gaskets help keep water out of the connection when fully engaged, and tinned conductors help resist corrosion in damp and saltwater environments.

Red and blue LED indicators on the female connector provide a quick visual check of incoming shore power and help identify a reverse-polarity condition. The 50-foot orange cable provides extended reach from the boat to the pedestal, and the kit includes a black inlet cover for the vessel-side connection.
