Shakespeare 5101 8-Foot Classic VHF Antenna – Black

Description

The Shakespeare 5101 8-Foot Classic VHF Antenna, Black, with 15′ RG-58 cable, is the same proven design as its white counterpart, just finished in black for boaters matching darker onboard hardware. That means the same end-fed, matching-stub construction, brass elements, and glossy polyurethane coating that resists chalking and fading under sun exposure over time.

Shakespeare positions this line as a genuine value pick, delivering features usually reserved for higher-priced antennas without the matching price tag. Like its white sibling, this antenna can also scale up: paired with a Style 410-R Mounting Kit and a Style 4008 Extension Mast, it becomes part of a full 16-foot antenna system for boaters chasing extra range.

6dB gain, one section, 8′ height, chrome-plated brass ferrule, 50 ohm impedance, 5 MHz bandwidth within 2.0:1 SWR, 1.5:1 SWR at 156.8 MHz, DC grounded. Ships with 15′ of RG-58 already terminated in PL-259. Pairs with a Shakespeare Style 4187 Ratchet Mount. Backed by Shakespeare’s 2-year limited warranty.
