With six LEDs, the Shadow-Caster SCM-6 is a well-sized mid-range underwater light for most vessels, in Bimini Blue, and Shadow-Caster designed it to pair with their Wireless Controller and Power Distribution Box, making setup noticeably less of a wiring headache.

Shadow-Caster designed these for maximum optical output alongside real LED longevity, rated for over 40,000 hours of service life. There’s no external hardware to install separately, everything’s integrated right into the housing and built to resist vibration and marine elements, and the low-profile, surface-mounted design means no alteration to the hull itself is required.

A wide 10 to 30-volt input range means it runs equally well on 12 or 24-volt systems. Surge and reverse polarity protection automatically disconnects the input the moment excessive voltage or reversed wiring is detected, and thermal protection monitors internal temperature to keep the unit from overheating.

7.2″ x 2.375″ x 0.5″, running 10-30VDC with consistent brightness across that range, drawing 2.1 amps at 12V through a digital switching supply built for efficiency. The LEDs run at 24 watts, rated for 40,000 hours of service, spreading light across 120 degrees.
