Description

This Sea-Dog Stainless Steel Chain Stopper, 5/16″-3/8″, protects the windlass from damage and cuts the risk of the anchor free-falling accidentally while underway.

It mounts on its own or inside most bow rollers, working alongside the anchor roller to take tension off the windlass. Chain and rope should always be secured at anchor when the windlass isn’t running, since it’s not built to handle those loads directly.

Fits chain sizes 5/16″-3/8″ (a 3/16″-1/4″ version, part 321820, is also available). Formed 304 stainless steel.

Worth comparing against our other anchors.
