The Sea-Dog Stainless Side Mount Removable Rod Holder slides in and out of its mounting plate, so the holder can be taken off and the plate left flush when you are not fishing.

That removability is the reason to choose it over a fixed side mount. On a boat used for more than fishing, a permanent tube at hip height in a walkway is something you catch yourself on.

It is formed 316 stainless with the mounting plate included, set at 30 degrees, and accommodates rods up to 1-13/16 inches. Installation uses four 10 flat head fasteners, which are not included. Take a look through our rod holders.
