This Sea-Dog pair of surface-mount navigation lights, model 400079, built from stainless steel, is approved for USCG 2NM (COLREG 2-mile) use, covering both port and starboard in one purchase rather than needing to buy each side separately.

Corrosion-resistant stamped 304 stainless steel construction means these hold up to real saltwater exposure rather than corroding or pitting after a season, and they surface-mount vertically with two 8 flathead fasteners (not included). Amp draw stays low, running on 12VDC without putting real strain on the electrical system.

As with any USCG-approved navigation light, correct mounting matters for proper visual alignment and unimpeded sight lines. Check the current USCG rules covering 1 and 2 nautical mile fixtures for what applies to your particular boat.
