Sea-Dog Small Brass Berth Light with Bayonet Bulb

Description

This small Sea-Dog Brass Berth Light is machined and stamped from solid brass with a lacquer coating to keep it from tarnishing, a classic look that suits a traditional cabin better than a modern plastic fixture would. Solid brass knurled adjusting knobs give it a real tactile, quality feel rather than a cheap plastic dial.

The interior of the lamp shade is finished in white enamel specifically to reflect more light back out, getting real usable brightness out of a relatively small bulb. It’s prewired with an integral on/off switch, so there’s no separate switch to source and mount, and a 15-watt DC bulb with a bayonet-style double-contact base comes ready to drop in.

If you’d rather run LED, it can be converted using a bayonet bulb socket adapter (442042-1) with a BA15D-style base and a G4 bulb, both sold separately, giving you a genuine upgrade path without replacing the whole fixture down the line.
