The Schrade Old Timer Middleman 34OT is a 3.25-inch traditional stockman-style pocketknife with three stainless steel blades: clip, spey, and sheepsfoot. The three blades provide different tip and edge profiles while the knife stays close to the size of a typical small traditional folder.

Sawcut Delrin scales give the Middleman its familiar Old Timer grip, with nickel silver bolsters at the ends and a traditional shield set into the handle. Each blade opens manually in the traditional manner and is held open by spring tension rather than a modern one-hand locking mechanism.
